VCamp 08 its all over click here to get involved with 2010

V Camp may be over for 2008 but the planning has started for 2010. As the committees start to gather and the venturers start to prepare we need you to get involved. Join the email group and start planning.

The debrief meeting from Venturer Camp08 and planning for 2010 will take place over two days on the 4th and 5th October. We will meet in Manchester and join the group to find out more Remember the adventure has only just began, be part of the Venturer Revolution.

As camp is getting closer and closer the theme nights have been announced.

Pre-Camp Success and Camping Villages announced

The Villages where announced at a succesfull pre camp. Over 50 delegates from across the counrty came togher on the weekend on June to prepare for the Venturer Camp 2008.

The group of mixed ages agreed policy of the camp and also toursed around the site to see where everything would be.

The villages make up will be as follows:

Pre Camp

Pre-camp is only a few weeks away now, on the 14th - 15th June. Districts booked in will have received a letter and instructions for the Pre-Camp. If you haven't recieved this please get in touch with Dan or Lloyd. The camp will cost £5 which we will take on the day to cover the camping fee, refreshments and also lunch on the Saturday. If you want to come (it would be good to make sure that a couple or reps old and Venturer from each district are there) then please give us an email (vcamp08@woodcraft.org.uk) just so that we can judge numbers for the food and the like.

Camp Updates

Today we sent out the final invoices and the list of everyone booked in to all the district contacts by first class post, a copy of the letter and invoice (minus attachments) was also emailed to all contacts to make sure that they received a copy. It's not too late to book in, but after the 9th July there will be a further bookings fee (of £10 bringing it in total to £115) and I wont be a very happy bunny as we have to order food, pay for pitches and marquees so don't want to have to still be doing Venturer Camp bookings at that late stage.
